Most, if not all, of the online forex trading platforms today which are used on the web are sufficiently secured and the only thing that is left for the forex trader to choose from concerns the ease of use of the platform.

In general, there are a few factors that you need to look into when choosing your forex trading platform/system:

Usually a forex trading platform is associated with a certain forex trading company. You need to make sure the commisions you are paying are as low as possible. 3 pips to 5 pips spread is considered a reasonable commision scheme.

Ability to perform all core trading functions from a single screen, including trade execution, order entry and technical analysis.

Easy access to account information, such as current open forex positions, real-time profit and loss, margin availability, account balances, and historical transaction details.

Suite of decision support tools, such as charts and graphs, real time forex market news, etc.
